I work as a trainer on the Natural Academy’s Threshold course.
The Threshold is the introductory element of the Natural Academy’s full vocational training pathway in ecopsychology and ecotherapy.
The course breaks the application of ecopsychology into three ‘realms’:
• health and wellbeing – using a positive psychological approach to working with people in nature, to relax, resource and revitalise them. Activities are designed to support development of learning and skills, self-awareness and personal potential.
• healing and development – working in more depth to cultivate a sense of wholeness through guided time in nature, and to support healing from trauma. Activities may include person-centred therapeutic and coaching techniques, trauma-informed bodywork and plural-mind psychological approaches.
• eco-depth – working with a more spiritual approach to nature, exploring mystery and helping people to explore their connection to the transpersonal and their deepest purpose in life.
Threshold courses happen all over the UK at different times of the year. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
